Prendre le temps Tourisme Sutton

Hiking / Snowshoeing

At the heart of the Sutton Mountains lies a network of 50 km of marked trails that criss-cross a wide variety of natural environments and allow you to scale four peaks and reach four mountain lakes that offer breathtaking panoramic vistas. Take advantage of circuits ranging from two to 20 kilometres in length, with varying degrees of difficulty.

Informative panels about local plants and animals add an educational twist to your hike.

Some towns that take particular pride in their green spaces have created trails and nature centres that offer quiet spots perfect for a family picnic.

The hiking trails are open year-round. Whether you’re wearing hiking boots, cleats, or snowshoes, a good time awaits.

Mountain trail network

Passeport of the Montagnes-Vertes

The Passeport des Montagnes-Vertes gives you access to nearly 270 km of trails! The “passport” is valid for a year and allows you to use all of trail networks of the three partner organizations: the 15 km of the Singer sector (Mansonville) of the Réserve naturelle des Montagnes-Vertes, the 52 km of the PENS trails and the 200 km of the Sentiers de l’Estrie, regardless of where you enter.

Advantages
You automatically become a member of the three partner organizations for a year. In the cases of the Parc d’environnement naturel de Sutton and Les Sentiers de l’Estrie, the passport gives you the chance to take part in the decision-making process of each of these corporations. You also benefit from the same advantages that these organizations offer their regular members such as savings at a number of participating outdoors boutiques and lodging facilities. For more on the benefits available, contact the Parc d’environnement naturel de Sutton and Les Sentiers de l’Estrie directly.
